Design
All NCI products are digitally designed and engineered using CAD software to ensure precision fit.
Materials
Our work is metals based, primarily steel, but we do work with other materials such as brass, bronze, copper, stainless steel and aluminum.
Cutting
Components are cut by laser, water jet or punched from sheets of raw material. These techniques allow us to create products that are intricate, elaborate and above all precise.
Fabrication
Many processes and fabrication methods go into creating a finished product. Forming on our 100-ton press brake, shearing, vertical mill machining, drilling, tapping and countersinking of holes, roll-forming, straightening, stud insertion, welding and assembly of component parts.
Finishing
All parts are deburred utilizing a variety of grinders. Most products will be finish ground with Scotch-Brite pads to even out the deburred areas and to provide "tooth" for the final color coating.
Final Coating
We utilize high-temperature powder or liquid paint for our fire screens and powder-coat most of our other products. Custom finishes and treatments are also available.
Much care, effort and attention to detail go in to producing NCI products. We hope that you enjoy them as much as we enjoy creating them.
